The Human Resources Department provides assistance to all city departments in the areas of recruitment, selection and placement of qualified applicants, employee and labor relations, wage and employee benefit administration and employee training and development. We provide assistance to approximately 78 full-time, 15 part-time and 20 seasonal employees. The HR Department ensures compliance with many Federal and State requirements such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Act, Americans with Disabilities Act and Fair Labor Standards Act.
Our mission is to provide courteous customer service in all personnel operations with integrity and responsiveness to the employees and departments of the city.
